      Last week, Hiroshima university cafeteria did Chugoku and Shikoku region fair. The content was local cuisine from the Chugoku and Shikoku region is served at the cafeteria that week. The cuisines were delicious and I was satisfied. However, there was a bad point. That was the my hometown's cuisine. That was yogurt! Exactly, the maker of the yogurt was in the my hometown ,Shimane. Do you think yogurt is local cuisine? I do not think so. All of other prefecture's local cuisines are main dish or like that. However, Shimane's dish was only dessert.      Of course, this does not mean there are no local foods in Shimane. In Shimane, there are are many delicious foods such as "Izumo soba buckwheat", "Nodoguro", which is fish and "Agonoyaki", which is fish paste. All foods are delicious so why don't you go Shimane and eat them?

      Today in a convenient store, I found a news that the convenient store was going to sell " Ehomaki" eaten in 2/2. The day is called "setsubun".　It is the day before the season start.       In the day, Japanese eat the food in a particular direction. Japanese do that to hope to have a nice year. Also in that day, Japanese do some strange behavior. One Japanese people pretend a demon, and another person throw beans to the demon from their house. This purpose is kick out evil sprit from their house.       When I was a children, in my home my family did this ritual, but these year we did not do that only we ate the food because the food was delicious. I think this is little sad because this means we lose original purpose. So, this year I will do this ritual. 

      Last week, I had assignment about fiction story. When I did this homework, I remembered the shortest fiction. The shortest fiction is said that written by Hemingway. It is   " For sale: baby shoes, never worn". When I looked this fiction for the first time, I was interested in that. Therefore, I search about short fiction story. The stories, which has only six words is called "six words". Other examples are " I still make coffee for two.", "I think, therefore I am bald" and " Tell your story. That's my story.". These sentences are short but we need a little time and think to understand. These are simple, but it is difficult to make. I want to make such a fiction.
