University cafeteria

      Last week, Hiroshima university cafeteria did Chugoku and Shikoku region fair. The content was local cuisine from the Chugoku and Shikoku region is served at the cafeteria that week. The cuisines were delicious and I was satisfied. However, there was a bad point. That was the my hometown's cuisine. That was yogurt! Exactly, the maker of the yogurt was in the my hometown ,Shimane. Do you think yogurt is local cuisine? I do not think so. All of other prefecture's local cuisines are main dish or like that. However, Shimane's dish was only dessert.

     Of course, this does not mean there are no local foods in Shimane. In Shimane, there are are many delicious foods such as "Izumo soba buckwheat", "Nodoguro", which is fish and "Agonoyaki", which is fish paste. All foods are delicious so why don't you go Shimane and eat them?

taking trains

 This weekend, I went to Kagawa to participate in a track and field competition. And I went there by train alone because my club members participated other events.        It was my first time to use train alone. So I was afraid of taking a wrong train. As a result, I could get to Kagawa but I missed a train when I change trains because the changing time was too short for me as a beginner. But I could get to Kagawa that was good.       Also taking a rapid train was my first time. The train was so silent and rapid compared with another train. It started smoothly with no sound so I needed windows to notice the start. And I thought who makes machines like this is great and I want to make something like this.

''sen to chihiro no kamikakushi''

      My favorite movie was called "Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi" in Japanese and it was called  It was made in 2001.Rumi Hiiragi played the role of Chihiro. The movie was directed by Hayao Miyazaki. In 2002, it got    Goldener Bär awards.     One day Chihiro got into a strange town and it was the place of gods. To live in the town, she was hired in a bathhouse. Then a dirty god came to the bathhouse and she needed to care about the god. I ate ''UDON''.

 Yesterday, I went to Marugame which is famous for ''UDON'' because there was a track and field competition. So I couldn't visit any tourist spot but I ate ''UDON''. It was delicious compared with it in Saizyo. Of course it in Saizyo is good but it in Marugame was chewy. And in Marugame I was surprised by the size of it. I ordered medium size but it was so big. Probably, the shop means a bowl of noodle is small, two bowls of noodles is medium, three bowls of noodles is large. It was crazy but good. Also the price was crazy too. The price of L was only 410\. ''UDON'' is healthy for not only my body but also my purse.
